What was meant to be a peaceful protest against police brutality gradually graduated to a fight against bad governance in the country. It was sad to see the COVID-19 palliatives being looted in almost all the states across the nation.
This leaves us with the question? Are we truly citizens of this nation or we are slaves just forcing ourselves to fit in where we don't belong? There is no justification for holding up what was actually meant for the poor masses who in any turn would lay down their lives to vote for the so called leaders, why on Earth will you lock them up and leave them hungry some even lost their lives at the course of the lockdown. The youths are not finding it funny, no human would. The fight for injustice should not be mistaken for criminal acts,
the looting to a different dimensions in Wukari LGA of Taraba yesterday being 25th of October, where youths were seen going after government owned properties to totally destroy and vandalize properties, that act was uncalled for, in the quest to find a better governance we must set a good prints that can justify our actions. Let us strive to be responsible atleast better that those we are fighting.
