Southern Taraba popular social media influencer and blogger, Taado Monday Iben but widely known and call, Morell was arrested on the 14th July at about 12:47am.
It all started from a post made by Morell cisse Jnr on his Facebook handle, On the 11th July 2023 which states ''please the pressure on Donga youths is too much. We need freedom please"
Some random comments were made concerning the post. So after three days I.e 14th July 2023 he was arrested at exactly past 12am midnight at his residence by the youth patrol team.
He was furthermore taken to Donzomga Street and was beaten instantly.
From there, he was dragged to the police station and was locked down in the cell for further investigations.
It wasn't late, another youth was arrested too. (According to our research, he was one among the commenters) He was beaten too and brought to the same cell where Morell was locked.
The reasons for there street according to the patrol team what's that, he (Morell) wasn't meant to do that post, as he wasn't in the right position to tell them what to do or not. According to the patrol head, he said; "we're doing this for the good of the land and to enhance peace and reduce kidnappings in the Town, so no one is allowed to tell us how to do our job or the way we run it, except the paramount ruler (Gara Donga).
As the time of filing this, Morell and the commenter ( Ande) has been released but will still face some interrogation when the time is needed.
