Model Joey Talent Takes Media Influencers to Court Over Defamation Allegations

In a shocking turn of events, model Martins Solomon, popularly known as Joey Talent, has filed a lawsuit against two prominent media influencers, Haliru Iliyasu Bibinu (Legacy Bibinu) and Paul Magai Abutu (Panther Perry), for allegedly defaming his character. The lawsuit, which seeks damages of N500,000, claims that the defendants falsely accused Martins of being gay, causing harm to his reputation and livelihood.




According to court documents, Martins alleges that Bibinu and Perry made derogatory comments about his sexual orientation on social media, labeling him as gay. Martins claims that these comments were not only false but also malicious, and were intended to damage his reputation and cause him emotional distress.




Bibinu, a well-known media influencer, and Panther Perry, a rapper, have built their careers on their online presence and social media following. However, their alleged actions in this case have raised questions about their responsibility to use their platforms respectfully and truthfully.
